Press Release Body = According to a recent report "Opportunities in Singapore
Tourism Industry (2007-2009)\" by RNCOS, Singapore is among the numerous nations that
regard tourism as an essential factor for economic growth. Recently, the Singapore
tourism industry has recorded an impressive growth in tourist influx, departure, and
revenue. It's projected that the tourist influx in the country would rise at a CAGR
of about 4% for the period 2007-2011, departure by 6.20% and per head expenses by
inbound tourists by 865.49 during the same period.

The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) is the chief tourism bureau in Singapore and has
initiated several proposals to make Singapore an influential tourism center to draw
trade, talent and tourists from all over the globe by 2015.

The Board's efforts are reflected by the yearly Great Singapore Sale (GSS) started
on May 25, 2007 and unlike before, coordinators have turned up with unique tours to
promote the diversity of things in unexplored places around.

Jannie Tay, the President of the Retailers Association of Singapore, in a statement
published by CHANNEL NEWSASIA on May 24, 2007, said, \"They\'ll see how local shops
are being organized and the kind of products that are available. They can sample
food, see vanishing arts and experience the Singapore lifestyle and the way we
live".

As per the Singapore Tourism Board, every one out of four tourists had particularly
planned his or her tour to overlap with GSS in 2006. The total number of tourists
throughout the sale in the year 2006 was 1.7 Mn & STB is estimating a rise of around
5 % this year (2007). The Sale will end on July 22, 2007 and coordinators are
certain that the sale would make them rich by Singapore $5.2 Bn.

The report "Opportunities in Singapore Tourism Industry (2007-2009)" raises several
remarkable concerns for today's business environment, like position of Singapore
tourism industry in comparison to the ASEAN tourism industry, rising trends in the
Singapore tourism sector, future of the industry in inbound and outbound tourism,
expenditure by inbound and outbound tourists, major forces for the growth of
Singapore tourism industry and opportunities and challenges for the Singapore
tourism industry etc.

The report provides broad research and focused analysis of the Singapore tourism
industry and helps clients in analyzing the prospects vital for its growth.
